I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Geers. I had 2 areas of concern that had bothered me for years, but for me, the risks associated with general anesthesia prevented me from considering interventions. I met with Dr. Geers to discuss the Awake procedures and was amazed that the things that had bothered me could be addressed without general anesthesia. Dr. Geers is friendly, compassionate, smart and serious about safety and outcomes, which it’s important to me as a health care professional. She explained the entire range of interventions that are available, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable discussing personal questions and concerns. The day of the procedure, her nurse Sheri explained everything that she was doing, made sure that I understood and that I was comfortable the entire time. I felt supported and safe. Dr. Geers monitored me closely during the procedure and made sure that I was comfortable and doing well. I went home feeling great and received a call that evening from Dr. Geers to make sure that I was doing well and answer any questions. I was impressed with the close follow up and how seriously she took all of my questions and concerns. I am so happy with the outcome and honestly wish I had done it years ago.

After over a year of research, I decided to go with Dr. Millicent Geers and Flying Horse Medical Center for a facial fat transfer procedure. From the moment I walked in the door, I received exceptional service from Dr. Geers, Sherri (the Plastic Surgery Nurse) and Michelle (the Medical Administrator). Having any type of surgery can be scary and there is also a concern about hidden medical fees. Dr. Geers was extremely thorough when answering questions and I was also given a ton of information about the procedure before and after the surgery. I also received a detailed invoice which included all costs associated with the procedure so there were no surprises. I feel that Dr. Geers really strives to create long lasting relationships and that she really cares about her clients. And, the most important thing, I LOVE my results!! In regards to the Flying Horse Medical Center, it is a very clean, comfortable building nestled in downtown Monument. I had my consultation, surgery, pre-op, and post-op appointments in one location which is extremely convenient. I had an incredible experience with Dr Geers, I really mean that. I came in for a ‘BBL’ consult in the summer of 2022. I was terrified when I stepped into the office for my first appointment just because I was so self conscious about how I looked and was nervous to let someone else in on what I was dealing with. Sherri was the first person I met who greeted me with the biggest smile & immediately made me feel relaxed, she assured me I had nothing to worry about & she was right! She is also absolutely wonderful in her own right. Dr Geers is an amazingly kind person with an excellent team and I felt very safe in her hands. As for my surgical experience - I did it awake and would do it again in a heartbeat. Everything went smoothly and exactly to plan. Any discomfort I had was immediately addressed, I felt zero pain and Sherri was an incredible support during. She held my hands and talked to me the whole time which kept my mind busy while Dr Geers worked her magic! She quite literally changed my life and I mean that with my whole heart - I was absolutely miserable prior to my surgery but she has given me a quality of life I never thought I’d know. My experience with Dr. Geers has been awesome. I had a consultation with her in March for chin/neck liposuction. She was very nice, professional and thorough when talking about how the procedure would go start to finish and what the projected results would be. I had my procedure with her in May and it went very well. Each follow up appointment, she takes the time to fully examine and is sure to ask me if there is anything I'm concerned about. I am nearly 6 months post op and I love my results! Definitely worth it. I do plan to get body lipo done with her in the future. Highly recommend Dr. Geers. Nurse Sherri is awesome too! I have to say I am very happy with the decision to have Dr. Geers as my surgeon. Her professionalism and expertise are evident when you first meet. Sherri, her nurse, is also part of the team that assists and deserves much praise. The options I was given were well presented. I was extremely grateful for the personal touch about safety and comfort after surgery. I ended up scheduling two procedures a month apart, and with the well thought out plan for after care, I was ready for the recovery for both. The results are very pleasing in many ways, pain and scaring is minimal with her recommended after care. My diet and health have both improved significantly with her written suggestions for recovery (an unexpected bonus). Due to this experience, I am an advocate in new arenas of health.
I've had two procedures now with Dr. Geers. Both have exceeded my expectations.
